To meet the needs of all cyclists, the brand offers three ranges of brake pads for a wide range of bikes.

• GAMME VERTE : The everyday range. Made from a softer resin, the brake pads in the green range offer comfort of use combined with quality braking for everyday use in town. The organic pads are ideal for your discs because of their low abrasiveness. This entry-level range therefore offers good braking, with a pleasant feel when riding. Due to the low rigidity of these pads, their lifespan and performance in the rain are lower than other ranges. Softness and comfort are favoured over longevity.
  
  
• RED RANGE : Discover high-friction organic brake pads! Preferred for downhill cycling and other activities requiring immediate responsiveness and the ability to brake hard right away. The red range is specially designed to cope better with temperature variations by retaining the heat on the pad without transmitting it to the callipers or brake fluid, which would result in a loss of efficiency during repeated braking. In short, the red range offers you uncompromising braking performance, at the expense of the life of your brake pads. In fact, they will generally only be usable on a few high-intensity descents before giving up the ghost. EBC advises you to check the state of wear before each descent to avoid freewheeling in the middle of a run.
  
  
• GOLD RANGE : Sintered metal makes its debut in the EBC range! Here we offer you a brake pad life unrivalled in the EBC ranges. The perfect brake pads for Cross Country and Enduro use, these pads will give you braking power and longevity. Please note that these pads are for use with brake discs designed for sintered metal, not organic pads. The braking quality will be good, but with an unsuitable disc, the latter will be damaged very quickly, due to the abrasiveness of the brake pads. These pads are not recommended for downhill cycling.
