AVDB has been offering LED tail lights with integrated indicators since 2011. The benefits of these lights are well proven. They come in a range of colours to match the majority of motorbikes on the market, giving them a touch of modernity, whether by eliminating the red colour of the original lens, or thanks to their LED system where the original lights are often bulb-based.

LEDs offer better, sharper lighting, with the added bonus of a longer lifespan than halogen bulbs, especially if your bike is subjected to recurrent vibrations. (And don't tell yourself that these vibrations are necessarily the prerogative of Twins, that would be too easy...)

Up until then, our lights, like all those on the market, required a little knowledge of electrical connections and soldering to make something clean and reliable when it came to connecting the indicators.

And even if you had these notions, you also needed the tools and the place to do it... And it's not easy welding in the common garage in the basement of the building, with no power socket and the automatic light going off every 2 minutes!

The euphoria of receiving your new tail light could quickly turn into a nightmare, and entrusting the connections to your cousin Robert, who is passionate about building site dominoes, was the best way to "blow a fuse"...(and not just figuratively!).

Drawing on the years of experience we've accumulated since our first lights were marketed, and by listening to your feedback, combined with our close relationship with our manufacturer, AVDB has decided to innovate and offer you these 100% Plug and Play lights!

These lights are approved for the "position light" and " brake light" functions for "clear" and "tinted" colours, with the "E-mark" marking on the lens.

Features and possible functions of the rear light with integrated indicators Plug&Play by AVDB:

• Aesthetically, these new lights are unchanged from the previous version. They use exactly the same shapes and fixings as the original lights, so they can be fitted in place without any modification.
• The position light comes on red, as does the brake light, which is brighter, and the turn indicators come on orange on each half of the light.
• An assembly diagram (in your language) is supplied. All our plug-and-play lights come with a 12-month guarantee..

The real innovation lies in the connections :

• With this new version, there's no more duct tape, no more soldering, no more dominoes, no more sparks, no more fumbling to find the right wire... Our new Plug and Play lights are fitted with specific sockets that are identical in every way to your original sockets! Both for the lights and the indicators! So all you have to do is disconnect the connectors from your indicators and your original light, then plug in the plugs from our light, and that's it!
• The problem of flashing frequency is a familiar one when fitting LED indicators. Because they consume less energy than your original bulbs, they may flash too often. But we've thought of everything in case this happens:
• We supply a pair of 10 ohm / 10W resistors for each light. So if, after connecting the integrated indicators, they flash very quickly (or even stay lit), all you have to do is connect the resistors. They will absorb the excess current delivered to the indicators to slow down and regulate the flashing frequency.
• Here again, NO modification is required to connect them! Connectors are provided for the simplest possible connection between the light and the connector on each indicator.
• If we don't offer this model without integrated indicators, you have the option of not connecting the two sockets provided for the indicators, in order to retain only the position and brake light function by connecting only the plug provided for this purpose. The integrated indicator function is supplied as an optional extra, so it's up to you whether you connect them or not!
• If you want to connect the integrated indicators but you're worried that they won't be as visible as offset indicators, then you have the option, with a little modification to the connection, of pairing the integrated indicators with your original indicators or other more discreet indicators. It's possible to combine the indicators with your existing ones, and this will increase your visibility!

• If you wish to remove your mudguard to slim down the rear of your motorbike, and therefore remove the original indicators and keep only the indicators on the light, you can only use the "integrated indicators" function.  This will be done without any modification to the assembly and is tolerated, but of course, as is the case for all brake lights with integrated indicators on the market, this is never approved, because of the distance between the two indicators.

In conclusion, this 100% plug & play brake light with integrated indicators is an AVDB innovation for motorcyclists, saving you a considerable amount of time and making it as easy as possible to fit your new light! It's true that you'll no longer have any excuses for staying in the garage for long periods!
