Removing the clutch nut is not the most complicated thing to do, but if you want to do things properly, this tool will be indispensable.

You can, of course, use an air impact wrench to loosen it, but for reassembly, if you want to tighten it to the recommended torque, an air impact wrench is out! 

Its length and sturdiness will enable you to hold it firmly while you tighten the nut!
